From August 16 to 21, 2023, executives of Jiaxin International's Boguty Tungsten Mine Project in Kazakhstan received Zhou Shaobing, Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, for an on-site inspection and research visit.
On the afternoon of August 16, 2023, at 2:00 PM, accompanied by the person in charge of Jiaxin International, Zhou Shaobing, along with leaders from the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), and Ever Trillion International, inspected the specific progress and conditions of the engineering project.
On the afternoon of August 17, 2023, at 3:00 PM, Liu Liqiang, Chairman of Jiaxin International, visited the Almaty Oblast government and held cordial talks with Governor Sultangaziyev Marat Yeleusizovich. During the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of investment cooperation for the deep processing project of Boguty tungsten ore products.
On August 21, 2023, Liu Liqiang, Chairman of Jiaxin International, traveled to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to meet with Roman Sklyar, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. He also expressed hope for continued support and assistance at the national level of Kazakhstan to address the main challenges currently faced in the construction of the Boguty Tungsten Mine Project and strive for its early completion and operation.
During his stay in Kazakhstan, Liu Liqiang also visited Jiang Wei, the Consul General of China in Almaty, and Zhang Xiao, the Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
During the visit, Liu Liqiang also attended a symposium for Chinese enterprises organized by the CODA, engaging in in-depth discussions with representatives of various Chinese companies on how to further expand cooperation opportunities in Kazakhstan. He also met with the head of Kazakhstan's OG Group and signed a tripartite mining cooperation agreement with OG Group and Jiangxi Copper Corporation.
