On March 29, the signing ceremony for the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract of the mineral processing section of the Boguty Tungsten Mine Project, undertaken by Jiaxin International, was successfully held in Zhuhai.
Liu Liqiang, Chairman of Jiaxin International Resources Investment Limited, and Wang Jinsong, Deputy General Manager of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, signed the EPC contract on behalf of their respective parties, marking another significant step forward in the main construction phase of the project.
Zheng Gaoqing, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Hua Neishi, Chief Representative of Kazakh Invest National Company in China; Wang Kewen, Deputy Secretary-General of China Overseas Development Association (CODA); Liao Jun, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of CRCC International Investment Group Limited; Chen Sichang, General Manager of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation; and Liu Zijia, Executive Director of Hong Kong Ever Trillion International Limited.
The Boguty Tungsten Mine Project in Kazakhstan is a significant achievement of the company's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative. As one of the 45 key projects under the China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation framework, the project has received high-level attention and support from both governments. Despite the adverse impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the initial phase of the project officially commenced construction on November 11, 2020.
