The signing ceremony of the general contracting agreement for the main beneficiation project of the Bakuta tungsten mine project in Kazakhstan was successfully held in Zhuhai, marking another big step in the construction of the main project of the project.

       Zheng Gaoqing, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and General Manager of Jiangtong Group Company, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Hua Neishi, Chief Representative of Kazakhstan State Investment Corporation in China, Wang Kewen, Deputy Secretary-General of China Overseas Development Association, Liao Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of China Railway Construction International Investment Group Co., Ltd., Chen Sichang, General Manager of China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Zijia, Executive Director of Hong Kong Hengzhao International Co., Ltd.

       Liu Liqiang, chairman of Jiaxin International Resources Investment Co., Ltd., and Wang Jinsong, deputy general manager of China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd., signed the general contracting agreement of the main mineral processing project on behalf of both parties.

      The tungsten mine project in Kazakhstan is an important achievement of Jiangtong's participation in the construction of the "Belt and Road". The project is jointly funded and constructed by Jiangxi Copper Group Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Hengzhao International Co., Ltd., China Railway Construction International Investment Group Co., Ltd., and China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd.

       As one of the 56 key projects within the framework of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, the Bakuta tungsten mine project has received great attention and attention from the governments of the two countries, and the project has overcome the adverse effects of the global pandemic of the new coronavirus epidemic, and the early stage of the project officially started construction on November 11, 2020.

       According to the project plan, the infrastructure construction period is 2 years, and the comprehensive processing capacity of the first phase will reach 10,000 tons/day, and the capacity will be expanded to 15,000 tons/day through upgrading and transformation in the later stage.

      At the signing ceremony, all parties said that the construction, development and operation of the Bakuta tungsten mine project is only the beginning of cooperation, and with the deepening of cooperation and the superposition of resources, Jetsu Tungsten Company will be built into a first-class mining company with scientific management, first-class technology and leading efficiency, and use this as a platform to jointly explore better and better mineral resources investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and even the entire Central Asian region, and jointly draw a new blueprint for overseas development in the new era.

      It is understood that the total contracting amount of the main beneficiation project is 1.328 billion yuan, and the project is planned to start construction in May, and it is planned to be completed and put into operation in two years.
