On March 29, the signing ceremony for the general contracting agreement of the main ore dressing project of Jixin International's Bakuta tungsten mine was successfully held in Zhuhai.
Liu Liqiang, Chairman of Jixin International Resources Investment Co., Ltd., and Wang Jinsong, Deputy General Manager of China Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., signed the general contracting agreement for the main ore dressing project on behalf of both parties, marking another major step in the construction of the main project.
Zheng Gaoqing, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Jiangxi Copper Corporation, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Hu Naishi, Chief Representative in China of the Kazakhstan National Investment Company; Wang Kewen, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association for Promoting International Cooperation on Economy and Trade; Liao Jun, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of China Railway Construction International Investment Group Co., Ltd.; Chen Sichang, General Manager of China Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd.; and Liu Zijia, Executive Director of Hong Kong Hengzhao International Co., Ltd., jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.
The Bakuta tungsten mine project in Kazakhstan is an important achievement of our participation in the "Belt and Road" initiative. As one of the 45 key projects within the framework of production capacity cooperation between China and Kazakhstan, the Bakuta tungsten mine project has received high attention and support from both governments. Despite the adverse effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the early-stage engineering officially commenced on November 11, 2020.
